View a Patient Visit Summary

Clinical notes include a Patient Visit Summary with a plan and instructions in patient-friendly language—written at an 8th-grade reading level.

How it works:

• Click the “Patient Summary (PVS)” button toward the top of the Note Editor to view the summary in the Abridge web editor.

• You can verify and edit the summary like a text document.

• When finished, copy/paste the summary to share with your patient.

Note: Your Patient Visit Summary is not sent directly into Epic;  use the copy/paste to transfer the information
