You can contact the Abridge support team directly from notes.abridge.com or Hyperspace — no need to leave your workflow to report an issue.
How to open a chat
Abridge Inside (Hyperspace):
- Open the Abridge tab. If it's pinned, you can do this outside of a patient visit; otherwise, open it from within an ambient note.
- Select the ☰ menu, then Support.
- Enter your name, organizational email, and a message describing what help you need.
Web editor (notes.abridge.com):
- Select the ☰ menu, then Support.
- Enter your name, organizational email, and a message describing what help you need.
Support chat is available 6 a.m.–9 p.m. EST, 7 days a week, excluding holidays. Outside those hours, you'll see a message letting you know support isn't currently online, with the option to email help@abridge.com instead.
Don't include PHI in your message
Please don't include Protected Health Information (PHI) in your support chat message — this includes patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or any other patient-identifiable information. Support chat is HIPAA-compliant, but our support team never needs PHI to help you. If we need to look into a specific note, we'll ask for the date and time of the encounter instead.
FAQs
Does the support team automatically know which note I'm asking about?
If you open the chat from within an encounter, both your user ID and encounter ID are sent automatically. If you open it outside of an encounter — for example, from the Ready to Record screen — only your user ID is sent, and our team may ask for the date and time of the note to identify it.
What happens if my chat gets disconnected?
If you were disconnected during your chat session, our Specialist will follow up with you via email to ensure your issue is resolved.
