How it works
When you record an encounter, Abridge automatically captures spoken objective findings and populates the Results section of your note. This includes labs, pathology, diagnostic tests, imaging findings, and notes about in-office procedures.
No extra steps are needed — the section generates automatically when relevant findings are mentioned during the visit.
For tips on getting the best output from this section, see Results Section Best Practices, which covers how to verbalize findings clearly so Abridge captures them accurately.
Subsections
The Results section may include any of the following subsections, based on what was discussed during the encounter:
- Labs
- Pathology
- Diagnostic
- Radiology
- Procedure (for example, laryngoscopy or injections)
Show or hide the Results section
If the Results section is not appearing in your note, or if you want to hide it, you can control this in Note Settings. Changes apply to future notes only.
- Open the web editor at notes.abridge.com.
- Select the menu icon in the upper left corner.
- Select Note Settings.
- Scroll to Sections and toggle the Results section on or off using the eye icon.
